Default clutch destruction

Well its offical i managed to kill a reyland mega clutch in 800 miles. No launches just letting it come on boost in gear no mad driving.Why me

Im soo sick of fords i went out and bought the one car i said id never own, i got a type r scooby and tbh its great lol

It was ok but as i said no launches,No crazyness tbh.I did burn off a 08 plate bently gt coupe on the m4 lol

whats a reyland mega clutch? not heard of it before, cant find anything on the reyland website either.

time for a mutli plate clutch best get your wallet out for a spanking

my reyland multi plate has been fine,20+ full bore launches.plenty of abuse.

sure it hasn't been dragging and burnt it out like that? Is it a hydraulic conversion?

Yes it is the multiplate thing and hydro, there is no adjustment for these clutches soo how could it drag???Im pretty pissed tbh martin has offerd 400 for a replacment fitted thats just the plates tho.God knows tho gutted.

How far the slave cylinder is wound onto the stub shaft threads is basically the adjustment. Too far in and you won't get the clutch fully disengaging, too far out and it will drag/slip..... Did you fit it yourself?

I fitted the cylinder thing yes! well it was fine when i did fit it all felt fine but you could be right there, i did have it quite far out on the pedal bit is that what you mean??So it pushed the pedal right up ? maybe you could explain it a little.Martin did say there was no adjustment.
