Default mk5 fiesta redtop

anyone know if this can be done, im sick of getting my ass kicked from corsas and novas, love to bang a redtop in my mk5 fiesta zetec s , as the 1.7 puma conversion doesnt justify the cost to me.

Why not just buy a shity corsa with tax and mot and put a valver into that, would be alot easyer, you could use the cosra for messin about in and the fiesta for a run around untill you build it

Sell it and buy something quicker. There are some rapid as fook Corsa's out there though.

Your sig says 140mph in a ZS so I take it you've got a few tweeks already. Bung on some giggle gas.

Speedo speed then not real speed. Still round abouts 125mph in real money which isn't to be sniffed at.

Chuck a duratec in amte and when you need it turboin let me know

if not why not take you 1.6 to shawspeed? some ss4 cams (iirc) and a set of throttle bodies would see most red tops off

Youngdan on here has a smiilair set up IIRC??

you could try shoehorn a focus RS engine in there as well. not sure if it has been done before though. the zetec-S lump isn't going to be pushed far over 130-140bhp.

for the money you wont find a cheaper quick engine we built a nova 2.0 redtop 13.9 1/4 we put a 2 ltr zetec out of a 26k mile mondie in a stripped out fiesta si and the fiesta couldnt catch it , and as soon as you say cams throttle bodies it gets to big ish ££££££ like over a grand just for that it only cost us a grand to build the nova , plus it would be nice to see summut different , go on do it

2.0 blacktops are meant to be 136bhp as standard. some people have even rolling roaded their 1.8 blacktops STANDARD and found about 130bhp out of them!! mine is 132 bhp running quite a few mods. I'm hoping for mid 140s with the cams in.

put a set of throttle bodies on it and you'll be seeing 170bhp!
