JAP CRAP

VERY interested in a few personalised plates I have in mind; some are released next year and some the following. Obviously they give rough release dates. Is there any way of guaranteeing I can get them and not get beaten to it by a reg. company? Or at least how do I give myself the best opportunity to get them? Or is it just a case of whoever presses 'buy now' first on the dvla site?


Also, when you buy a new plate does it have to go straight on to a car or can you buy it and put it on retention straight away?

unless you have a relly who works in the dvla,i know someone who has some cracking plates and funny enough he will get what he wants before you could if you both wanted the same plate.
not that the dvla would admit to it
