got one that says it's got a document jam in it but no documents are in there

i've checked, repeatedly

and then it goes to "document out" and then back to document jam" again

i've got a new machine on order now but who do i figure out what was sent or not recived?

btw, it's a samsung sf 515 if anyone wants to know

Probably an odd scrap of paper stuck in one of the sensors that makes it think there is paper stuck in it...

i've taken it apart as far as i can, including taking the cartridge out and the rollers too but can find nothing

all it says is document jam, which is different to it's normal paper jam when this sort of thing happens

i've unplugged it and then it asks for the time to be corrected and then it's back to the same thing again

then its sitting there whining away as it does when it warms up

how do i reboot it?

Dojj,

you could also just accept that you have a broken fax machine mate and stop wasting bandwidth on here
