it would have been far more ammusing to have had them both carted off to some prison, along with the camera crew while jeremy got stuck in the traffic in tokyo
besides, there is no way in a millon years jeremy could have covered more ground than the train that was doing 200 odd mph while being limited to 112 mph in the gtr so it's got to be a fix

the train has an extra 150 miles to cover though, plus all the changes/ buses etc
But these races are fixed without doubt to make them more enteraining but who cares its fun to watch

but they were on the second train and were miles ahead of him at that point, and, the next time they spoke to him, he was ahead of them!
