Default Old mans cars got a problem

Escort estate, he said he was coming home and the brakes felt crap, and when he pulled onto the drive and slowed to a stop there was a creaky noise.

And i just went out to have a look and the front drivers wheel is RED hot, even the actual alloy is hot to the touch.

None of the other wheels are even warm.

Any ideas

Replaced a few brake hoses on them they seem to break down internally, possible sticking caliper too. Undo the pipe from the caliper see if the piston moves freely, if so replace hose. Obviously checking your slider and pads aint seized

As above, nearly certain to be the hoses.
