Calibrating an Innovate LC-1?
Correct procedure as per the manual says that you simply press the button or connect the black wire to ground for 3 seconds.
I have never done this but my XD-16 came up CAL and now is haywire.
Simply pushing the small button on the XD-16 doesnt really do anything.
Sounds silly but am I doing anything wrong?

Don't bother Euan waste of time best way to cal it remove lambda plug turn ignition on ten secs off again connect plug it dose a complete set up
MAKE sure your engine has no been run for 8 hours (unless you remove sensor from exhaust)
After a lot of fooking about found out mine was knacked sent it back to GGR who was a great help and they sent me a new one

So many innovate going wrong, glad I bought tech edge now.
Customer bought two LC1 for his TVR as std system uses two, despite exhaust needing only one as system is 4-1(each side) then 2-1, then 1 -2!!, so could use just one, new ecu going in but pain in the arse to work on.
ECU is buried next to battery in front pasenger footwell, ecu is just wedged between battery and body work seperated by carpet, so water gets in from leaking heaters, good design!!

Euan read the instructions for first time set up
This will sort u out mate as it worked for me over 20 times untill i found out mine was duffit would not hold calibration settings for more than 3 engine starts
doing it as for first time set up resets and recals all
hope this makes sense
please note i'm using the ano gauge not the xd 16 but the LC1 cals in the same way regardless of which type of gauge u use

This is the first prob I have had scott.
It usually needs a wee mess around with after its been disconnected from the battery for a while but usually calibrates within seconds.
Ill go out now and try it.

is that the same sensors you had to replace before??relief its just the sensor though...it still feel the same as before to drive or there been any new changes?

fixed the wideband and its now reading properly again!
Its defo the SPA temp sensor thats at fault cos I swapped it for the oil temp sensor and now seeing same fault on that and water is ok.
Scott is not the same sensors as before, this water temp sensor actaully looks likes is been stretched and the wires are kinda out of the the sensor itself.
thank fuck these ones are only 30 quid to replace.

Its a specific connection so I can only use the SPA ones Neil.
The sires going to sensor have had a hard time due to heat(used to use this one as the oil temp) so are brittle and breaking up.
Its an easy fix so not that phased.

not as expensive as the last time you had to replace sensors then IIRC...

yeah its has been fixed before Dave.
The heat shrink has torn and left the wires exposed.
I was out to get the shopping inthe car and its working intermittantly.
Defo time for a replacement.

know exactly how you feel mate, all that money sitting there doing nowt, thats nearly 17 months my car has been away and am starting to lose heart with it and wonder why i'm bothering...i'm supposed to be getting it back end of this week, think if it was to take much longer i'd look at breaking the car and buying something i can use more...
