Default oil coolers..

im ordering a container full of goodies for my saph to come to oz.. so just wondering if a oil cooler will be anygood?? the car gets used quiet hard most days on the road and in summer temp get up to 40 degrees.. and in summer the car gets used alot harder as the weather is nicer so will it be viable to have one??

depends how hot the oil gets ...get your self an oil temp gauge and see...im not sure how hot oil it can go ....i think its about...115-120..but im not sure....one thing u dont want is the oil not 2 be up to temp...they do look the nut thou

im ordering my defi oil temp auge on monday but wont be putting it in until i have the new engine installed. so was just wondering from people experience if it was worth while buying one

your getting a bog wing sump with your HG engine are you not??

I wouldnt bother until you find you need one.......trust me

I think I have the same HG engine as your getting with one of his big wing sumps and used my oil cooler from my previous engine and it runs mega cold even with a thermostatic sandwich plate! I think unless used HARD on track you wont be needing one even in OZ
