Feel like I have lost a part of me!!!

If I could have worked on the car myself or I lived next to Martin then I NEVER sold the car but I don't....

I'm going to miss him like CRAZY but it had to happen right now I am afraid...

Feel AWFUL that I am upsetting Martin and Maria so much but it just had to be done and yes you could NEVER build a car like that for Ł25k... but you can't normally sell them either!

so it was a good deal for me and an even better deal for the buyer!!!

The bloke who bought it is a lovely old retired fella who obviously has a few quid! and he will be out in the car at Snetterton. Sadly he is going to become a total trackcar now and won't be out of the roads any more...

As I said I am gutted but I have some INCREDIBLE memories of that car and I met some of my greatest and best friends through him and through the Cossie scene.... me and Martin hardly knew each other before he built him for me... and I think everyone knows how close we are now.... and don't forget... I also met the girl I love through the Cossie scene!

So I hope he makes his new owner as happy as he made me!!!! I only have to think of that old Sierra and it just makes me smile!

Best car I'll EVER own. It had more Character and different moods than Martin and thats saying something!

I'll post some of my fav memories and photos from over the years... one sec whilst I stop crying!!!!

Sad to see it go, i allways prefered it in the white colours tbh.

Will be nice to see what Porkie replaces it with if he does.

Absolutely legendary car. Such a shame it wont be gracing the roads anymore, that was always one of the things that I loved about it.

Great write up that Lee and amazing to think that some of the special cars you've owned, driven and it's the cossie that sticks out just says SO much for the car and the build quality...

There i go again.......... babe you have done the right thing..... and you dont have to justify it to anyone.

When you think of you, you think of the sierra, when you think of the sierra, you think of you. Tis just gonna be very weird thats all.

And i swear to god, if i find out that old man has mistreated patrick, i kneecap him!

Martin has worked his BOLLOCKS off on that car. and NOT for the money!

He always WELL undercharged me with that car for the HOURS AND HOURS he put in...

He would make more money doing routine jobs on boring other cars!

Me and him have been tearing around the race tracks for the last 9 odd years together in the two cars!!!

You can't even IMAGINE the fun we have had...

and its over...

but I have some memories that will never go away. and rather than sulk I am smiling that I was lucky enough to have had them! lots of people never get to experience what we did together!

Patrick ROCKED!

Thanks Martoon

Thanks to all the other people involved over the years as well!

You say "Reyland" & you think of the Sierra 1st not Martins Escort...

Sad to see you've sold it, but you must have good reason. Hope it gives the new owner as much enjoyment has it has for you over the years Lee.

You should have sold the Porsche instead . It's not my car and I'M sad .

However, the main reason I am sad, is that all the above photos will no longer contunue and that is such a HUGE part of the Ford scene (bigger than Lee et al realise). Patrick (OMG I can't believe I'm calling it by it's name ) has just left a Sierra sized hole in any forth-coming Ford event .

It will take a VERY special car to fill his space, which from Maria's posts isn't going to happen any time soon . I feel like wearing a black arm-band .
