How that car was at the end in my eye's was (for lack of a better descriptive word) PERFECT !!!

Really sorry to hear the 3dr's left the scene, really lovely words there Lee, actually brought a tear to my eye too !!! lol

Can understand why Martin & Maria's upset too, but it's better to burn out than to fade away & that car was at it's height, in it's prime, better than any other 3dr I can think of right now & envied by everyone !!

So is there a space now for a Reyland Saph wit another nuttah behind the wheel ??

Keep us posted on ya plans next Lee & you better still come to all the meets !!!

Sad that you sold it Lee but on the bright side you SOLD it to someone who wanted it not broke it for bits, it sounds like they will use it on track days etc so I'm hopefull we will still see it about.

It will take a VERY special car to fill his space, which from Maria's posts isn't going to happen any time soon . I feel like wearing a black arm-band .
Well said mike, proper car there lee, was a highlight/1 of the main attractions at a track when ever i saw it going large. will be sorely missed by many in the scene.

Cheers for the entertainment over the years.

Real shame, but sure it wont dissappear altogether.

One of the iconic Cossies in the scene for a fair few years, and still one of my favourites.

As stated just be happy you can say you built it and had fun in it.

God, this sounds like a send off of a relative lol

People have died, suffered, been injured in the last few years and got fewer tears than Patrick on this forum, and he's only gone to someone else, not the scrapyard

Anyhow, possibly one of the most photographed sierras in the last few years, here are mine from Coombe in July 2005.

Yay Porkies sold the car..

Think about it for a moment, that car gave people great experiences and built friendships, the car was built for fun and so many people gained from it.

Yet everyone is upset, in this day and age when most RS Sierra's are being broken and stripped the fact that such an iconic car is still in one piece and not distributed over other cars should most certainly be celebrated.

Kind of strange seeing a very high spec RS sold these days and thats the really sad thing

Im actually ecstatic that one of my favorite cars ever is still in one piece.. its all good.

WOULD NEVER EVER EVER HAVE HAPPENED!

I would have sold both Porsches and all I own and my bodily organs before that happened!!!

He has just moved on to another place to help someone else... to make them smile!

Kinda like 'The Littlest Hobo'

Thing is though, it might happen now, new owner could have an issue with it or not get on with it, and then realise its easier to sell in bits.

It will take time to sink in Lee. Was a very nice car and will be truely missed on the PF scene here I am sure. Saying that, good job it's still in one piece and will be enjoyed by the new owner.

Now.....have you ever driven a Carrera GT before? If not don't think about it JUST DO IT! It may not be the easiest car to drive but if you can sync in with it it will knock your socks off. I've had the pleasure of driving one (unfortunately driving and not raping) not long after a few came over to the UK and boy all I can say is just starting the thing up 50% done it for me...the ROAR! Performance, engineering and looks are also in a league of their own IMO. It's alot of dosh but mate....you only live once.

Or you can do what I've done and get yourself on 2 wheels. Once my Hayabusa is turbocharged there will be very few machines out there on the road that could match its performance, especially for the performance for money.

Reyland Busa with GT40 and Pectel sounds like a plan.

What ever you do in the future...best of luck.

Bests,

Sunny.
