You should have named the car after his Mum, he REALLY loves his Mum (who doesn't ?) and he wouldn't have then been able to sell it, as it would be psycologically equivalent of selling his own mother .

In fact you should have just denied him his conjugal rights until he agreed to keep it .

seriously though,i guess everyone is feeling the pinch(or trying to preventing it!) of this so called credit crunch and as Lee is into finance(or something like that,i think?) im sure his banking brain has told him enough is enough,get out while the going is good and saviour those many,many good memories and save those pennies for the bills at the same time!!

Hey don't feel too bad for this guy he still has 2 Porsche's to play with and a girlfriend and he once blasted past me in his 911 Turbo(have you named him or her yet maria?) and that car sounded and looked ......i'm sure Ford folk will hate me for this.but i'd rather have the 911 turbo over the 3 door ANY DAY!

to soften the blow i suggested an old school porsche stripped out....... he said no!!!

 

Believe it or not but the very same DID happen when I sold my Harley the other day!

Guy could not kickstart it himself and everytime I started it for him he stalled it and I had to start it again. After about 10 tries he managed to wobble away...I kidd you not...
Made himself to look like a complete arse in front of his wife and kids!

Anyway, the credit of the build goes to Martin and Lee and as for driving: without Lee ragging it around a track and doing the miles it wouldn't have been developed into the complete package it is now.
Now matter who drives it now, they can't take that away from Lee and Martin
