help with converting miles per litre please

hello all, im just trying to work out what its costing to do 38 miles doing avg 45mpg with fuel around 117 per litre, who can do the sum, it a 02 ford fiesta 1.25 finnese

www.pinsharpauto.co.uk/calculator.htm is perfect for that. all sorts of calculations for fuel consumption, journey cost etc

Thanks Nick, I really didn't need to know a one way trip to work costs me £7.30 in fuel alone

scary isn't it when you actually do the sums

we all just think we'll pop somewhere in the car without really thinking about what it costs - that will change.

Quite, return trip to reading to get a few clothes suddenly got expensive - I won't complain about the parking costs anymore
