Federer V Nadal!!
Awesome!!!
Don't care who wins, both of them are WAY ahead of the rest of the players in terms of talent, Rafa will be a champ at Wimbledon one day.. that's for sure, might even be tonight with a bit of good fortune!

That was an UNREAL final - I was on the edge of my seat cheering on Nadal the whole way through. I can't imagine how stressful that is for their families considering I don't know the lad from Adam and I was a bag of nerves lol.

Would liked to have seen Federer win this year to beat the record for consecutive titles, as Rafa has a lot more years ahead of him.
I didn't mind who won though, as they are both amazing palyers - by far the two best tennis players I've seen, and just on another level compared to anyone else on the tour.
I'd like to see Roger beat Sampras' record of 7 Wimbledon's because I hated Sampras. Always thought he was a bit arrogant, whereas Roger is just a really decent guy. Always gracious and courteous when he's defeated, always admits that the better man one - last night he said he "tried everything" against Nadal.
Sampras just always seems pissed off.
Anyway, yesterday's final suerly has to be one of, if not THE best tennis matches of all time - great entertainment!

Awsome final, 2 great players. BUT....
When Nadal beats Federer another 5 times in a row, then he can call himself a "better" player.
Just coz he has a gold trophy, doesn't mean he's the best...

at the minute though he is! back-to-back French (where he absolutely embarrassed federer) and wimbledon, first time since borg, not even federer has managed that. not forgetting turning up to queens 3 days(!) after the french and winning that also!!
Dont get me wrong I'd have loved to see Federer win six in a row but at the minute he's just not quite as good as Nadal on any surface it seems. and for the record the gap between these two and the rest is ridiculous, the sweaty sock has a lot of work to do if he wants to even so much as clean their boots!

I'm sorry, but it looks like you were watching a completely different game to the rest of us!
Nadal almsot won it several times yesterday, but Federer showed true class and experience and denied his win everytime until the end. To say he "embarrassed" Federer is just ignorant! Far from it.
At the end of the day, he's Spanish, he'll never be able to keep it going as long as Federer did. True champion

Nadal also recognised Federer in his speech, never for one minute showed anything but respect. He was pretty humble for a red blooded spanish male

BTW i 'think' imo Nadal could have peaked very early! In fitness especially. I cannot see him chasing balls down and hitting that hard for the next 5 years. IMO as said!
