Default does someone know this relay?

on a 2wd saphh. cossie
it's sitting behind the dashboard instruments, it's an 'Hella' item and has the numbers 30, 85, 86, 87 on it. There are two red wires connected onto coming straight from the battery and there's a black and green wire going to somewhere.

don't know where it's for and if it's realy needed so i hope someone can sort this out for me

30, 85, 86, 87 are the pin numbers for the relay... its a std for all relays!

pins 85 and 86 supply the 12V feed to the relay coil
pin 30 is the relay switch COMMON and is usually connected through a fuse to 12v
87 is the switched output

so it can be used for several things i suppose??
when i started rebuilding my saphh i thought it was used for the alarm fitted to my car, i've trown the alarm out (it was crap) but now i'm not sure if it's realy has something to do with the alarm.

so if anyone seen this relay on his/hers saphh just tell me where it's needed for.

that is not a genuine ford relay, and they are not genuine wires.

looks like it's something that someone has added and made a mess

there is a relay behind there for the heated front screen, you could see if they've replaced the wiring for that.
