can an injector click but not work?
ive got a problem i believe to be 2 injectors, they click, have been cleaned and eveything upto the injector is working including spark and compression, any help much appreciated, thank you

Well i had a similiar prob on my saff cos last week it stated to miss bad, i had a spark on all 4 plugs, changed crank sensor still missed! I thought it was injector probs cause if i pulled of the connector on injectors 1&3 it made no difference to engine note, they were clicking thou so were working. A few days later i found it was the dizzy cap and rotar arm somehow putting a spark on plugs 1&3 at same time! Maybe it's all your prob is, hope it helps.

paul if its gettting spark and the injectors are working then it should run
if it aint then theres a issue,,, could be anything too even a air leak will make the car missfire or the cam timing being out ect ect ect

i know, thats what i was thinking, but with compression on all cylinders fueling and sparking im puzzled, maybe the plug gaps could be wrong? i really dont know now? may take it to jano in the week

swap the plugs around fella i might be able to have a peek for you in the week as i work in chingford fella if you want
2 heads are better than one lol
are the readings all even when you checked compression
cant be injecters if the prob remains when you swapped them over
could have the wroung signal from the ecu going to that cylinder
no way you could of mixed them up by any chance is thier dude

Fuel rail blocked over 2 and 3?
Try looking in at the engine in the dark to see if you have sparks flashing from 2 and 3 to each other or earth.
Air leak on the inlet around 2 and 3 ?

air leak on the inlet is very poss, i did mention this to a few people as i re-used the inlet to head gasket just to get it started and it had a lil nip in it (was replacing after but wanted to check engine run, due to getting bent valve before with disaster) but werent working at the time so couldnt afford to replace but wanted to know it ran. how likely could it be?

its freaky how many people know my car without me hardly ever driving it lol, about the 1st time i took it to enfield pf meet 3 people spoke to me, knew the car etc, its concerning

not long got rid of my mk6 was nice little van, all the electrica etc ghia dash, colour coded bumpers, sold it and got its big brother, the transit lol
