What do I need to do it?

Ins cert
MOT
V5

any other forms? I dont have the 'tax is due' form?

There's a form you need to get from the Post Office as well I believe mate, unless things have changed.

I thought that but wasnt sure, V10 or something iirc?

damn I was going to ask my mum to go but thats fooked that idea up

I can't remember the form number, but yes, I'm pretty sure there is, you have to put the car's registration, chassis number etc etc on the form when you're doing it....

mine was sorn but got a reminder when it was dur to run out. so i taxed as normal

I havent got the reminder as I just bought the car, im sure its this form (V10) I need.

used to use them in old days mate., all you need to do is walk in with logbook and insurance with mot, although dont even need mot as they look it up on pooter


i tax maybe 10 cars a month lol

dont need a v10 mate as long as uve got the green bit of the log book or the full logbook

they just scan the barcode and ask it tells them when it was last taxed so just ask u if u want 6 or 12 months

basically same as taxing a car as normal (to cut a long story short )

i took Lees dads docs to get it taxed after sorn and they didnt use the v10 he had already filled in, they simply scan the v5 and hey presto

just mot and insurance as well as v5
