Got my s2 turbo running 2day, had new pistons couple valves were knakered had them dun and a new metering unit. Just wondering if there anywhere local (north east) to set it up for me???

 

If there isn't anyone who is highly regarded then I suggest you travel to someone who is respected as it will work out cheaper in the long run.

There are lots of rolling roads around, gateshead and newcastle. I say lots...more like three. They specialise in jap stuff, but depending on what you want.
My cousin is heavily into rst/scoobys, delta intergrls, etc, i' haven't seen him for months though, soz.

..........with lots of experience....i'd say..............NO ONE...........u'll have to travel....................who's chip are u running for a start..???............injectors and general engine spec................i'd say the closest people worth taking it to are M.S.D in blackpool and N.M.S in derby........................

 

Ahmed Bayjoo chip and -31 actuator dun by castle performance(??????). Not long got car and this was done some time ago. Just one of my mates said with me changing the metering unit the fuel pressure may be different????

 

If it's just a standard ish setup you could try Paul at R & P Woods just off the coast road, they used to look after my RS Turbo's in the early 90's still going too but very busy.

Anything more than that I would say what Pete has suggested

 

the problem with "castle" chips is they are meant to be copies of ahmeds maps but thats by the by...................if u've only changed a few bits and not altered the spec then u'll be ok getting ur boost n fuel checked at a decent enough place........
