If he is from Lithuania, it wont be at the pod!

12.9 with under a bar of boost? Not bad, even if it is a 2.1zvh

If thats on road legal tyres its quite good for an RS Turbo and only about a second off the pace of the quick vauxhalls in this country.

If its on slicks, not so much so.

So about a 13.3 or 13.4 on treads then I guess?

Still a reasonable time for an RST, faster than most over here

If you are racing on that concrete surface, I think thats pretty good personally

Would be interesting to see what it can do on good road legal tyres, like a set of 888 toyos?

Very nice from you.
Interesting way of thinking by the way too.
But you know I can't rip out your thoughts from your head.

Sad there are such people like you. When I started this topic I wanted to know how it is in other places of the world. Down here where I live I'm the only one dragracing with the RST and I have noone to compare too. It was an honest question. Later I shared what I've achieved as there was an interest from others, so please don't make such a statements I'm not from those who you think I am.

Strange thing was that only 60 ft was worse but overall time with G metter was 12,36.
Some time ago I compared my G metter readings with that track clock and it was optimistical by 0,3 sec. so I was expecting the time to be at around 12,5

Out of interest, with times like that and such sticky tyres, what are you doing with gearboxes?

Mine strips third gear regularly (did 3 gearsets in around 2000 miles last year), on road tyres.

Whats the best time on 888 you have had on another day then?

(most people in the UK only run on road legal tyres, so is a more interesting comparison)

Don't use them on the track anymore... I use them only when I map the car on the road. But as I said on the road It showed me 12,36 and I would ad 0,3s as that was the difference that I got when I was comparing G metter tim with the track time.

60 ft on 888 was 2,24 on the M/T slick 2,02

Well if it is capable of doing 12.6 on 888's that is a very fast RST by UK standards for sure

If I go to overtake in third gear, theres a 50/50 chance of pulling the teeth off that gear, that's how it feels anyway.

.....and that's NOT a standard RST gearbox.

What wheels and tires are you runing? I bet they are big rims with low profile tires. That could be your answer. We say here that high profile tires save your driveshafts

Any fwd ford in the 12's is an amazing achievement.

As oficial as it could be... that was one of ouf drag championship rounds aproved by FIA, so believe me it is oficial. All the participants have to have aproved licence to participate there
