Default Problems with BT broadnband.

Does anyone have a contact number for BT broadband where the cunts can actually speak fucking english??

I keep loosing conection to the wireless network in my house and am sure is the old homehub I have, I asked the silly idiot on the other end of the phone about 10 times to send me replacement hub but he just keeps repeating himself no matter what I say

get used to it mate, i made 56 calls over 18 months to those indian's and only just have i managed to get a decent connection with bt, only after writing to the complaints department 3 times, new pole outside, 6 new routers, new phone line, 2 new phone sockets inside and it ended up being a problem in the exchange with the ports.

The home hubs wireless range is shite. Do your self a favour, buy your self a cheap wireless access point and use that, just patch it into the home hub.

also in defense of the router some one in your area may be using the same or a channel in the near range of the one you are using to work. If this is the case then you may have issues.

Try changing the channel it changes on the home hub and laptop.

Total fookin tossers! I had the same problem when I joined - just would not pick up my wireless connection at all. Spoke 2 every b@stard call centre in India and the UK and got absolutely nowhere!!!

EVENTUALLY got it cancelled and moved 2 Virgin - was a total nightmare!

BT are utterly fucking useless! I lost count of the hours I spent on the phone going over the same shit every day. I swear they're actually robots with indian voices! They've got a set list of questions and if you ask them something they're not programmed to answer they break.

And then you tell them you're on a Mac and then your problems REALLY start!!!
