Default Anyone been to France recently?

Heading there in a few weeks for the hols with missus and son, Down near Royanne. Don't know wether to go in the VW transporter, Loasdsa room to bring stuff and bring back plenty of wine. No Aircon or cruise control though. Or go in the Octavia vRs, limited room but has all the fudgies. what would you guys do ?

i would go in the van and then you can bring back plenty of goodies.
thats what i did last year from costa blanca to north england in a pug partner.and saves on fuel.

Did you have aircon in the pug? The VW would defo be cheaper on fuel.

Went beligum about a month ago, was nice and sunny there would take the diesel personally though petrol is expensive over there aswell here, was about 1.55euro... and the exchange rate is very poor at the moment..

If you're buying Duty Free Fags or Drink. One piece of Advice

DONT GET IT FROM THE EUROTUNNEL SHOP's

Theres no profit in it as the margins are pretty similar now. Bag of Virginia was £6! (Cheaper from a Building Site in the UK!) And Wine was similar prices to Tesco's! I gather if you go out of that area you can make some money.

I'll be heading into Roscoff, Plenty of Wine warehouses there. Just discovered from the AA route planner the drive i have to do is about 6.5hrs!! I told the missus it was 4!! Think i'll be going in the VRS.
