Default What were your Croft highlights? Best stand, Best track car, Best show car????

Following on from all the bad press we're currently recieving with regards to the camping etc; I thought i'd get an idea of what was good and what stood out for people.

What was your favourite show car, track car etc etc.

I thought the time attack evo was awesome and went past me as if I wasn't going forward LOL

Charlie shaw's drifting was mint on the saturday and I think Marts (redrsmk5) escos looked really well presented for his first concours outing.

All in all, I think we pulled off another good show weekend.

i loved the laied back non unwelcoming attitude this show had, this was the first show Elise went to and she loved it

missus wasnt impressed though as she was cold pmsl

the track action was MINT though, nice lay out of cars and good equal drivers in all classes i thought

not overpriced either for what you get too !!!!

Just had a really good weekend from start to finish.

Loved being out on track with SiB.

The atmosphere on saturday night round our tents having a drink and catch up with everyone was really good.

Paul's RS500

Seeing YUM on a huge photo board on PF stand

Everything really lol

Only gutted i did not have my car there !

Roll on next year

the highlight for me apart from my own cars being reliable on track was a passenger ride in Jims rs200 rep, awsome power and handling even felt faint through hawthorn bend at one point..
don't think he was overtaken by anyone during any of his sessions over the weekend!!

bufty car: martins red escort cossie 1st time out, respect!

track car: that spaceship of an evo and pauls rs500

lowlight: wanting to be out on track in my csl

highlight: too many to mention, but camping with my mates far away from everyone else, friday night in yarm, beer with my local groupies on the hill while watching track, playing name that tune with the works team were just some of them.

Everything

Weather wasnt bad ( could have been a lot worse )

Food , not bad quality and a fair price compared with most outdoor events

Track action , far to many great cars to mention

The people , great to catch up with those you only ever see at shows , Dave ( yum ) and Helen , wasnt much of a chat but still good to say hello

All in all a fantastic weekend for me and joanne , the laid back attitude at croft is what makes it so special , and that is only possible because the event is so well planned and the people running the show keep there eyes on the ball to keep it running like that all weekend

Track car of the day for me was Dave escoss 4x4 , passing me on the outside while im struggling for grip on the rear wheels and trying to keep the 500 pointing in the correct way he comes screaming past on the outside with all 4 tyres smoking , quality ,

Perfect

Many thanks to Durham and derby

wow, well it was my first croft show and i only did the sunday. up at 4 drive there get on the stand bufty the car up and then enjoy one of the most easy going shows ive been to.

everyone seemed to be in a great mood.weather was windy but good mostly and i didnt feel tired from scorching sun so got to enjoy the track.

best show car, that was very difficult.as strange as it may sound i saw a very minty looking petrol blue escort cossie on one of the stands that tbh looked like it wouldve shown up some of the concours entrants even thought it was only on a local group stand.

best track car,has to be the grey time attack evo. m400 evo.awesome car,so,so fast and my god what a sound.it really did make me think about selling the escort for one i even said it to dave moss.

best show stand, couldnt say really.all were well presented.

all in all a great show only marred by someone scratching my a pillar on the esc cos. looks like someone was leaning on it with a ring or something

but all in all well done people

you definatly pulled it off again.

we arrive for the weekend, and was only planning on track for sunday,

but after the first session on saturday, i got a bit twitchy and wanted to be on track.

so quick chat with dingy and i was on track saturday

had an awesome weekend

best track car?? mm hard one, the stickered scooby was flying and was awesome,

the white drifting 3dr was great, you heard tyre screaching, and was just expecting a crash and bang, but then saw the the 3dr and thought, he's having fun..lol

the sunbeam, was absolutly flying

the m400evo was flying too but had a few issues

had some great battles on track, hay scott

met some new people.

was just a great weekend

thanks to all involved

downside

i have fooking loads of video of footage i need to sort out

anyone have pics of my car???

Was it hot enough for Claire to get her breasts out?

If so, that would have been the highlight for me .

Check out the resto section and you will see - car just wasn't ready .

I think you will find that I have already been caught with my hand in the cookie jar (so to speak - sorry Scott! ) staring at them at Ford Fair last year . I can't hide the fact that I am a breast man .

thanks Paul, i thought i was a bit close to you at the time lol, thats why i came over afterwards just to say sorry.

the car that sticks in my head was Scotts car,the orange 205, we both came onto the pit straight and both go for it and i honestly thought i was not going to get in front, that car was going for it.

i too was impressed by Martins car, though i did not look at the other cars to be honest, too busy in the pits.

all in all, it was a very good weekend....thanks everyone.
