Default microfibre cloths - best thing since sliced bread...

usually I get the poles to give the car a clean but seeing as the sun was out an its a nice day, I thought I'd give it a clean..

the worst part for me is drying the poxy thing... Read on here about microfibre cloths... So thought I would get a couple... How good..!!!! no streaks, no effort, and great results. So easy and quick.. Well impressed.

If like me, you used to use chamois etc... try these.

Transforms drying from being a chore to a pleasure!
I use Sonus, and some megs last touch to help with water spots and add a shine.
Do you sheet the car with hose when finished?
Means less water to dry off.

use RO or DI water and let the sun do the work. No water marks.

Or use the RO water then towel dry

Have fucking hard water round here, is a bastard nightmare.
And inevitably sun comes out as you're washing...
Would love a water filter/softener

I use a Meguiars Microfibre towel. They are SO SO much better than Chamois'.

Once I have washed the car, I rinse it off with the hose, then put 2 watering cans of rain-water over it. The difference it makes is immense.

(this is our Black Clio, not the RS, I couldn't give a shite about that)

You should find you don't have to even dry it off, as rain water does not leave marks. Make sure you don't get crap out of the water butt though

Yeah sounds good to me.
I'm sure light swirls I'm getting is from drying towel, pissing me off as I'm so careful, and paint is so fucking hard to correct being German.

Reverse osmosis, Its the water i use for my marine fish tank. like 97% pure,

the RO unit i have has a DI unit built into it which makes the water 99.5% pure or something silly like that
