Default Haynes Manual: Confusion

Looking for a Haynes Manual for a Mk2 Orion (1987).. can't seem to find one (?)

I have been scouring ebay, looking for a book with a picture of a Mk2 Orion on the front but cannot find one, but the manual that apparently covers the date of the model orion that i have has a picture of a Mk1 Orion on the cover?

Just want to be sure before i buy it really, will this version of the manual definately cover my 1987 Mk2?

Probably seems like a silly question, but i didn't realise that the Mk1 and Mk2 could be that similar (?)

I've got a Haynes for Orion 83 to 86, it's the same picture as shown but the Title is slightly different, ref no is 1009.
That one shown must cover all Orions

And inside it says does NOT cover 86 on.
I bought the manual in about 1988 while the Mk2 was still in production.

There are loads on ebay stating up to 1990, you've just missed this one :

it will cover both if it says so on the cover.

both cars are basically the same anyway.

that's the workshop manual mind chap, slightly diff to the normal one, which has a red cover.

I bought both for my '90 Orion, but a lot of the stuff inside relates to a Mk1 too, as they are near enough the same

is the workshop manual very different to a normal one?

i'm guessing the normal one would be better suited for carrying out work at home in spare time etc?
