Would you risk??
Right, before i get bomb-barded with replies of "you've only just got it back enjoy it" replies
I,m thinking in a month or so of changing the UT T38 for a GT30,....
Question is, i'm still on the 205 block, now i KNOW it's been asked a MILLION times, but i'm wondering should i take the risk or not??
:
I just fancy a change from the T38 and having been in a few GT30 cars i really like how this turbo feels..
Answers on a postcard please.......

Aye up fella...
Yes true enough, i guess the only time it'll be stretched would be under mapping i guess where you have to obviously push the engine..

Will be fine I think
If it is the original 205 block (iexpect it is) and its just been rebored, it will therefore be a seasoned block too, which there are pluses for using

you could fit the turbo and take it to the same power then up the boost as you go along? I might give you an idea of ow the engine is coping.

Do it, keep your eye out for a nice original 200 block just in case, but i think it'll be fine.
If it goes then i'll help remove it and strip it down with you, will keep costs down

Being 100% honest, it's Jim that had all the engine build, but knowing Jim i'm sure the standard head bolts wouldn't be used..
I'll have to look through the HUGE amount of reciepts....

It probably had an external gate.
The main thing isn't the turbo, it's the mapping.

Right folks serious question......
Would you just go ahead and buy a 200 block, or risk the 205 and just hope & pray??
I think the latter...
