Any idea on how much i should be looking to pay for a screen for my 54 plate vauxhall combo mate? Or better still, how much they cost the trade to buy so i can hit them hard in the balls with an offer.

I don't know of anywhere that will do you a "trade" deal, as it's not really the same thing as a motor factors

As said, small companies will be the cheapest, bigger companies such as Autoglass and RAC will be expensive, think between £150 and £200...

Unless you have fully comp policy on it then you will only pay your glass cover excess, typically £60, £75 or £100 - unless you are VAT registered, then the cost will be the excess + the VAT on the cost of the job - so if the job cost £200, you pay £60 x/s, + £30 VAT (which you then get to claim back again) = £90 or thereabouts.....

Glass cover excess does not affect NCB

Thats your insurance excess. Would be the same no matter what company you go to (provided they have direct billing with the insurance company)

Unfortunatly i dont have windscreen cover so will have to be a small company really. Ive had a quote today for £100 +VAT so £117.50 isnt too bad at all really i suppose.
