Default Gearbox oil on belts

LOL

When I was doing my gearbox oils the other day, I put the funnel ontop of the engine for a second, and didn't think. Dripping oil all over the belts on the side of the engine. I just took it up my road now as it's going for the MOT thursday, and I could smell a burning and a faint mist of smoke all around the engine bay...

Looks like its coming from the belts, and smells it. Can't explain what the smell is like, But whats the chances of it being that and not something else

Fucking thing.

probably something else knowing the issues you've had with your car!

take it for a good run in the hope it burns off or squirt a little petrol over the belts to get it off....(do it on a cold engine tho!)
