Default combe charity rides

Do you book them in advance or on the day?

I owe a mate of mine a passenger ride as a birthday present and my car isnt track ready yet, so figured this would be a good alternative.

Ok, cool.

Hopefully be able to blag her a seat with some of the people who are quick but not charging like Si B anyway, lol, but figured if I could get her a shot in Martin's car or similar it would be a bit more special.

She's never been on track before, so even a 205 would be cool for her TBH, but as its meant to be a birthday day out, Id sooner it was something more interesting if possible, but anything is good.

But the 205's would more than likely earn you a smack in the mouth for the gift rather than a thankyou hug....

The pink 205's were in the tyre walls and infeild more than on track...

Stick to the Reyland cars i reckon! Im hoping to hitch a ride in one.

Nah, she'll be cool in anything, and she'd probably enjoy the occasional off anyway, she's just that sort of person, probably why she doesnt mind going out in the car with me

Maria, she will want a ride with you for certain (no matt I dont mean she wants to climb her slender 18 year old frame into bed with maria and make sweet love all night long whilst covered in whipped cream) just cause she'll think its cool going out with a girl, especially if its in a cool car like the Sierra or Porsche and you are going past most of the men on track

The porsche for her then please

I'll try and get there early enough to book a charity ride for her with Lee in the sierra, as obviously he is the best person to show her what that can do

100% not a problem, i should be easy enough to spot in amongst all these shonky old fords and porsches!! LOL

Joking apart, for an old datsun its a suprisingly capable quick(ish lol) track car, so she shouldnt be too dissapointed!

Give me a nudge when you see me?

Rob, I dont think you can just turn up and drive, its pay in advance only on this day I think (ie its a trackday format not an open day like you normally go there on)

If you do manage to swing it somehow though, can I *pretty please* borrow your car to take her round myself

Im all booked up for this and the Westy has its all new trick front suspension fitted after the small mishap at Brunters!

Also all properly mapped now and running the best it ever has. Made a touch under 450 on the rollers and will be happy to scare as many people as I can on the day. Should probably do them for chaaaaariteeee too.

Shhhhhhh..........Dont tell anyone, but they are the same as the old trick bits.....Just NOT broken bent or snapped!

Actually, thats a lie. They are 50mm wider each side and as I found out last night, the car now does not fit on my trailer

Sourcing a replacement "widetrack" trailer today..............

No probs....if she could just shout directions at me as I will have my eyes closed most of the time!

Remember she needs a helmet too and my spare is usually WAY too big for teenage girls...........apparantly.
