Default Does the Bailey escort still exist??

As above really, it was one of those "dream cars" to me in the 90's, i've serched youtube and drawn a blank really, is it still around??

yup its still about.

I think it possibly needs a engine rebuild which why its not been at the shows.

I remember seeing it at Donnington national day, 3 years ago i think but didnt see it go round the track Awsome car!!!

i love that car it overtook me at donno under the dunlop bridge with tha loudest bang and pop i thought it had hit me he was so close lol. awsome car that was at nat day 3 if not 4 years ago

I remember it when it wasn't a x pack and he was known as Paul B.
i also have seen it race in the vecta fast fords against a rs200evo of Sue Collins,it looked great with capri brooklands and a rs500 motor,proper q car

There was another car involved with that scrap but I can't remember who!? Scottie was in the Fiesta wasn't he or was it the Escort?

IIRC it was originally featured in a Ford magazine (can't remember which though) around 1989/1990. Think Paul Bailey was still a photographer or electrician then?

Was a while ago so not sure....

nah it was when it was a plain jane standard looking red rs2 with capri brooklands running a cossie turbo motor,him and his mate Rob B were always in the RSOC mag back in them days,it was great fun.
the pic Mr Turbosystems posted is after that

imo it was a better car when it was standard looking

Stunning motor i remember it going that year at Dono.

I also remember Gareth Lloyd going over the grass under starskeys bridge to get past a Saph as he didnt want to wait.
