special delivery on a saturday?
if something gets sent special delivery on a friday, is it still guaranteed to turn up before noon on saturday? or is it monday?

I only send Special Delivery during the weekdays, when I know it will get there next day no quibbles
Otherwise it's First Class signed for delivery, just as quick IMO

I've got the Mail Made Easy booklet here.
Special Delivery is a Monday to Friday service, and excludes Bank and Public Holidays, but they reserve the right to deliver on non-working days, subject to capacity.

i've worked 8 years for DHL as a courier and we did some saturdaydeliveries but only when the customer asked and paid a little supply for it. 
otherwise it was delivered first thing on monday morning

i usually put "sat delivery if possible please mrpostman,ta" and 9 times out of 10 it works, special is guaranteed next working day before 12 but saturday is not a working day,cheers nomad
