Default petrol in the oil

ERST??? Sold an escort RS Turbo which was incomplete but the engine was pretty much finished. Just needed piping up etc! As far as I knew it was all good as I was looking to finish it myself so for obvious reasons it was done properly anyway!

The guy has phoned me back saying it was struggling to start, then when he removed fuel relay it turned over fine. Eventually he got it to start but he says it flooding the plugs. When he got it running he said there was fuel coming out with oil from the dip stick. I personally have never heard of this but has anyone got an idea of what it could be. I'm trying to get him a new engine now and I'm completely skint. Feel so guilty even though I thought it was all good!

I suspect that whoever finished it has made an arse of it mate. Common with Bosch KE and Not your fault. Tell him to get it to a tuner.

a tuner has come to look at it and told him engine is scrap and there is no compression in all 4!!!!

I just cant believe it. took me ages and i changed every gasket and seal too! It must be something he's done and know i should just leave it as it nothing to do with me but i feel bad! He said plugs were flooding and a mate has told me that the petrol in oil is prob where its flooded and gone down chamber. But then the problem is how to stop the flooding. The car was running before but just with a different block!
