Default 2WD Saph vs Mustang

What do u think will be the likely outcome in a dual carriageway race (Sticking to speed limits of course) between a 400ish HP Saph and a 320ish Hp Mustang (07 plate)???? Standing start......

the saff would totally destroy it, of course.

bit of tuning and its different, but 200kg heavier and 80bhp less makes it pretty obvious, even if its a manual.

Of course the Saph would murder it!

I know its an obvious answer, but curious to know what sort of distances can be put between the two cars over say a mile and a half..............

Not a lot, only the amount the Saph can gain up to 70mph, then they will both be travelling at the same speed a constant distance apart, assuming a straightish dual carriageway.

You think? Id say its the other way round, the Mustang will be much better low down as its probably got way better grip, but once traction isnt an issue the Saff will walk it. Stock top end of a Mustang is only about 150, like a stock Cossie. But a 400bhp Saff fucks right off to 170odd, and quickly too.

Stav,

I think he said that because it was stated they'd be sticking to speed limits
