Overall no!

Love it!!

I regret spending insane amounts of cash....but then when i consider the cash i have wasted on binge's, birds, clothes and holidays, it pales into comparision....

Keeps me out of pubs and clubs.

I'd have spent big chunks of cash on any hobby.....golf, fishing and being a proper travelling football fan cost serious ££££'s.

Cars give me much more enjoyment and adrenaline. Balls to mincing round a golf course or sitting at the side of a pod! lol

Not many hobby's are cheap, so i have no real regrets.

TBH, i thought i would have got fed up of it all by now, but i havent. Even though i'm settled with kids house etc etc, i still find pleasure from doing subtle mods.

Only the other day, i looked at my driveway and thought, every single car on here is modified, albeit subtly. The wifes 2.0 focus ghia has got a suspension kit on it and 17" oz's, my trackcar was parked under the window, even my daily hack, Skoda octavia tdi has got a suspension kit on and 17" TT alloys...

I just cant leave stuff alone, even if its just to put my own mark on stuff.

i love it, dont regret it learning things playing with things.
theres highs and lows when something turns out shit!!
i personally love the challenge, after smashing my old car over a kurb and through a bollard (blatently my own fault) i really enjoyed replacing bits and learning how the parts i broke worked etc.
like ive just tinkered with my engine. as i did it i replaced absoloutley everything that did or didnt need replacing, just for the experience (and to end up with a reliable as hell motor at the end of it)

btw my wallet HATES ME WITH A PASSION!!!!

Car modifying is a necessity anyway... as no 'off the shelf' car is ever quite right!
