Retro Cars
If there are any other fans of this mag on here, just thought I'd post up saying that after a couple of years away, it's back and out tomorrow!

No idea until I can hopefully get my hands on a copy tomorrow
There was just an advert in the latest issues of a couple of magazines. It just said it was back on 12th June

Future sold the name to Unity, so it'll be a completely different team. The only thing that's the same is the title!

Oh yeah, I forgot it used to be Future, lol!
But yeah, I saw the advert in 3 of Unity's magazines this month
Should still be good though as long as there's still plenty of the same subject matter

It was a really poor seller for Future, and wasn't viable, but Unity can afford to run a mag with low circulation as their overheads are lower.

I used to love this magazine, it's a shame I didn't know it was back because I would have got my wife to pick up a copy in her dinner break.

Unity have a 'pool' of designers, rather than designers who specifically work on one mag so there tends to be a similar feel to their mags. Hence why it resembles PBMW.

Looking forward to this.
Its one of the mags I always used to read in Smiths, along with Practical Classics and Car Mechanics.
You can read them cover-to-cover in there while the misses is off shopping, no-one cares.

PF seems a lot different to the rest though
This, PBMW, PVW all seem very similar

Couple of mint-looking virtually standard Saffs in the classifieds too

I would imagine that's more to do with Dave tho! (That's a compliment not an insult if you're reading this Mr.Moore)

I hope its good, the old Retrocars was one of my fave mags, and one of the few which was factually correct (something that even PPC, which i really love, rarely is),
Ill have to have a look...

Cheers Dan, I'll take it as such then.
Shame our designers don't see it that way. I'm picky, fussy, and unfortunately for them know what I want. That basically means I want something done my way, not the easy way and as such some of them dread designing PF each month I'm sure! lol
Retro Cars is very different to how it was at Future but people seem to like it from the feedback I've seen and heard about it, so good luck to the guys behind it.
