I think I can answer for Duncan on this.. The rear handbrake calipers might look cool but their ability to perform the job is another matter! I can offer a better solution.

the rear hand brake caliper works ok, but you woudnt want to do a steap hill start using it, the problem i have with mine is that i have got floating rear discs and because they move they rub the small pads away, so you set the calipers up and they work fine but once you have done about 100 miles they need to be adjusted to max the brake strengh again, the only way to get arround this is to make the rears discs solded and not floating.
But they do look trick, they pass the MOT and they work (just about lol) after all its only a hand brake and i allways leave my cars in gear and hardly ever use the hand brake

Just thinking of changing my rear callipers, not to worried about the handbrake, but obviously need something for the MOT.

Whats your suggestion Martin??

Sorry know this is a wheel thread. I will post some pics of my 9" rims with 255 tyres soon. Not much room on arch or trailing arms to be honest.
