Don't like the 10" rears, as on any car other than Martin's the rear tyres look too bulbous. Must be to do with how Martin has pulled his arches?
Stick some pictures of yours up Marty for comparison .
Ztee's with 9" rears looks fantastic though - just right . However, that is obviously due to being able to run different rolling radius tyres. You have to have 265/35 x 18 and 235/40 x 18 on the 10" / 8˝"s to keep the rolling radius the same on a 4x4, as 245/35 is the biggest you can get away with on the front, but they are the wrong radius for the 265/35 rears.

Cheers Dan.
Turbo is just the standard T3 and at a guess power is 350-385bhp.
Gotta wait for Martin H to get off his arse and get his new spangly rolling road fitted before i get a better idea tho !
Just a couple of little surface bubbles to get sorted on it, then i might think about washing it more than once a year.
Gaz

Has that tyre been touched by the arch, you can see a line what looks like an indentation from the arch.IMO they look too big as said above the tyres look bulbous, can we see pictures of this car that they do look right on?

as mike has proven on the track you dont need any wider tyres, its all to do with suspension and geometry setup.
i think the offset and size of mike wheels are perfect for an escort, cant stand the bulbous look

do you struggle with traction though?
im very suprised you do on a 4x4 system, i can understand 1nd and 2nd maybe, but 3rd upwards on proper tyres and your struggling for grip?

martin completely the opposite, just trying to understand as i've never seen the car at its full potential in person other than whats been posted on here.
off course mike would be quicker on slicks there's no doubt about that, but does he need 10" wheels to run slicks? no.

OI! Who posted my pics of ZTEE24!! LOL. I was planning on posting the pics then to my surprise they're on here.
Here's the spec's of her car's wheels.
Front 18x8 ET35 225-35-18
Rear 18x9 ET25 265 -35-18
Coilovers all around and the rear 1/4 had to be cut and pulled for the wheel to fit properly. It does rub on hard dips but other than that it's fine.
Porkie, glad you like the pic I took that about 2 weeks ago That's our new house and garage
RS500, you have the poster over your bed, I have the owner in mine
haha.
BTW, who is "American" ?
