2 x tripod bearing for the st170 driveshafts.(to fit my custom length shafts ive had made)

These are specific to the focus st170 and not kept on shelf, fair enough be in for Tuesday.

You have to buy a complete shaft for the st170...

Ive just paid 600 for new shafts to be custom made then £40 a pop on new c.v. joints.WTF am i wanting to buy the whole shaft for a bearing on the end

Unfortunalty not, the whole transmission on the st170 6 speed including the brackets that mount the shaft on the sump are unique.

Even the Focus Rs ones use the same as all other focus models.

The st170 box is a joy to fit in a Fiesta all.

they are funny bearings: they taper IIRC. had the same problem. get on the FFOC see if anyone breaking a st170 m8!

 

Yes there tapered fit and the bearings are fitted via the tripod units ends being flared over. Not a standard bearing jobbie this one im afriad

buy them, whip the bearings off the end, take the shafts back for a refund and hope they don't notice

 

I thought of that but there special order only, so once paid they cant go back
