Default Ebay Question

Right, i sold a laptop on ebay as faulty, when you switched it on it just beeped, anyway someone bought it now he's saying he's not happy with it, says that the seals have been broken so it's been opened and the covers have been put back on wrong, the reason the seals were broken because it was refurbed and there's no way the covers were put back on wrong, i told him this and his reply is you can tell the covers aren't on right.

If he claims through paypal, and my description clearly says faulty will they refund him?

make sure your paypal account is empty, then they can't remove any of your money from it!

paypal always side with the buyer, regardless of the sellers description

worst thing you can do imo is accept paypal, even though ebay are making this the only way.

Close your paypal account NOW so they cant side with the buyer and refund him from your account.

AT least that way your not out of pocket, remember to inform the bank that no payments are to be taken from them

They fucking can! The cunts did it to me! Just went into the red when some prick off here tried fucking me over on paypal, even did it whilst I was on holiday!

I don't EVER EVER EVER accept payment via Paypal, it's too risky and totaly biased towards the buyer, I only ever buy using paypal as I obivously know i'm an honest seller!

Just like their new feedback system, its another huge mistake from ebay imo

This new rule seems to have kicked in already Everytime I renew an advert now that hasn't already got Paypal listed as a method of payment, it won't let me renew until I have added the Paypal option

Not happy about this at all. We don't mind accepting Paypal for the lower value items (although we try to discourage it), but definitely don't want to accept it on the higher value stuff.
