yeah i know theres loadsa extras but things like the driving which is 90% of the game is no different. still just as boring and unrealistic and still cant move more than 10 yards without hitting something.

anyway i kicked the PS is a stress and now the disc is all scratched and wont play :wal:

will i be able to take it back? got it from blockbusters?

OK, driving is different, car control is different, as u can see above what we talking about, sooooo many more vehicles etc.... and getting in a stress and fooking the disc....LOL

I noticed a two player mode bit in some old ruined buildings too but forgot where i saw that...

This games fookin FULL of lil tricks n stuff, never stops suprising you, even with stuff the people say n do.

Its cool jus watching what people do too, people stopping their cars to go buy drugs n shit, people having full bore long conversations in the street somtimes, allsorts.
Cracks me up when people compliment you on your muscles or your haircut too, once your respect is right up they big you up summat proper, everyone knows you as CJ then.
I beat this woman to death on the beach with a bunch of flowers (serious ) for saying somthing about my smell and a bloke who was walking passed on the game called be a sick bastard
The amount of different volcabulary they have is amazing i reckon, and having people like Samuel L Jackson and Ice Cube doing some of the voices is smart.

And the radio stations are the bollocks too

im not the only one whos dissapointed with it. things like going to gym and getting hair cut, playing space invaders should have all been left out and maybe some improvement made to graphics, detail.

Obv not everyones going to like any game ever made, but to me the lil details like the Gym etc etc etc is part of what makes it good.

To me to really enjoy the game you gotta play it more like real life and less purely to complete the game.

You could just ignore everything superficial and go all out to do the missions and thats it, but wheres the fun in that? Id say at least 50% of the game you dont HAVE to do (the clothes, the talking, the hookers, druggies, the clubbing, etc), but thats where the fun is. Its more an interactive life than a linear mission based game, the missions just give you summat else to do.
Its like the Sims with Drive-Bys

I play it like an interactive movie, my bloke dont have to be covered in tatoos, have a big afro, wearing all green and beating anyone to death who says a bad word against him, but thats where the fun is, playing the game how youd wanna see it if it was a film you was watching.

im at the spray painting bit, going round it ryders car tagging everything, i got a tip for anyone whos at my stage or doesnt already know this, but u can use the spray to kill people, they start to choke then u just keep spraying till the circle goes red and they drop dead

I had $2000 and went into teh betting shop up at the spagetti junction bit. Came out about 40 mins later with $1,000,000 just by betting on teh horses. Is this a bug in the game do you think? I've got too much money now...

OK, the lowrider race is actually really easy I accidently used all the nitrous before the race so did the race with no help and pissed em...
Jus DONT race with hydraulics as they handle shite with them.

Jus done tons of missions, Big Smoke is a stich up bastard and no doubt we will be killing him soon, CJs bro is in prison but he lucky to be alive, most the missions are now out in the middle of nowhere now, he now has TWO birds on the go, and the second one is even more crazy, mexican piece and they do robbing banks and bookies n shit, but hes nailed her already, even if she did tie him to a rack and whip him

New weapons so far include a rifle, sawnoff shotgun, and satchell charges.
Driven tractors, quads, a combine harvester, and also found a car called a Club thats obviously meant to be a modded VW Golf and its quite smart.
Cant do the 1 robbery mission, a bank one, always fuck up the hold up, but we escape on police bikes, but then i fuck up, only had 2 goes, il try again later.

i've got $7 million now. but my bro cant seem to win that much on the horses. apparently you can get lucky charms and stuff that increases your luck. But i dont think i've got anything like that, but i do seem to be lucky on the GG's

Steve the low rider races are easy man. its not about balls out speed, its steady speed that gets it, if you can do it without crashing cus I garantee you the other cars will to at some point.

Dont try overtaking them at the start of the race. One should stack it right at the beginning so take him. You get onto a dual carridge way, use that keep your accelerator pressed and go as fast as you can on that bit, use all the road.

it is better to slow right down for the corners too. Just flooring it all the way will make you spin/crash.

But give the other drivers a lot of space, your sorted

MadMac, read later posts, i tried again and its piss, just when i tried the was was on 'draulics.
Infact ive just done another 5 or so races out in the countryside and they MUCH more complicated (more like a rally than a road race) and i pissed them too, easy

Im now on the second island at last, dont bother too much about getting terrortry as it all goes tits up before long (to do with the storyline) and now theres Ballas standing round everywhere, Grove Park dont exist, nor does my money stash

Your new hippy friend is quite funny and running round the fields with a flame thrower burning all the weed before the cops come is cool

I need a fucking helicopter really, its a wanker getting around as the game is sooo big

Took a combine harvester out for a spin last night and when you run people over they get chewed up and the bits spat out the back.

Currently earning some cash as a lorry driver so I can buy me some property I think I'll be playing this for quite some time yet

It does amaze me how true to life this game can be, although people think it is just like VC, it is infact a hell of a lot different! The amount of things you can do and places you can go are endless! And the new swim feature is a godsend! I hated VC, there were so many times when you really did not want to end up in the drink but sometimes could not help it and died

The swim feature is good, anyone swam underwater yet? See fishes, turtles, sea bed, sharks!!! Although I swam out pretty damn quick as I bet they eat u!!! Also, I was underwater getting shot at by a copper chopper, even the bullets u can see fly through the water, really a lot of effort has gone in this game....can't get enough!

Agree with Adam 100%. There has been an awfull lot of work put in to get this game as good as it is.

It's very rare I get this into a game. Usually I think a game is cool and revert back to GT3 after a few days.

Wait till you get out into the countryside and the mountains mate, swimming makes the game sooo much better...

The place is full of rivers n lakes and you got a lot of street races and chases you get involved in, and quite often youl end up flying clean off a cliff into some water!
Still cant get used to it, every time i think "fuck, im dead" but then remember you dont die now
Its good that others can swim too, after robbing a bank or summat with his 2nd mrs, the mexican nutter, i ended up going clean off a cliff into the river when being chased and we both could get out n swim to shore.

Dead handy when travelling across country too, i often jus head direct for the target and drive clean off cliffs and swim across rivers n lakes rather than taking the proper route, much quicker.

Im not a big fan of the 2nd city yet tho...

U need money 10000 for most small houses go over t the little green house icon and press l1 if u have enuf money its yours

I just bought another safe house, purely cos it is next to my missions with OG which is all I have to do at the mo, I had before been driving all the way back to the original safe house to save
