my dad had one of them when he was a typewriter rep and I remember thinking it was quite cool because the speedo went up to 110mph

but that one looks like a piece of shit

Its a Kadett, but all of them are cool.

He was camped just a few yards from me last night at PV, kept leaving the campsite sideways, properly cool car.

Not mapped properly yet, but going to be an animal when it is

Yeah, Phil who came down and was part of my mad Xmas nova rebuild marathon is one of his best mates and has helped with a lot of it including doing the portjob.

yeah he got a sil80 now, but i got him a feature in total vaux which should help him flog it if he hasnt still by then.

its a nice car, not slow either, we made a modded scooby look silly in it down one of the roads by his house one time.

i prefer the chaser tho.

We had the Austin Marina and Hillman Avenger to fill that role.

I'd love to get my hands on some 70s RWD machines. They knew how to build em back then.

I dont think its intended to stay rat look, he basically just couldnt afford a paint job cause he put his money in the mechanicals IIRC from what Phil was telling me

my grandad had an opel kadett

it was white put him some new wings on it for him,with it being white & the wings being black i thought it would be a bit of a wheeze to write LAPD to serve & protect on it & leave it for a while

he wasnt happy
