Thats true mate ,,, but you need a good shell to start with , ans as steve says you pay 2k for a good sound shell to start from ,, and you cant build a new std shell for 6/7k

sorry but not worth it,

you can buy a prepered shell as new, for 6 to 7k

if you say bought this for 5k you would then have to get it prepered,

why not just buy a ready done one,

and buy the look of the pics its stored outside! need we see more.

Yes but it aint a brand new shell is it ??? you cant beat a new shell , much better than a rebuilt item , imo

4k aint worth it, but id also be interested as to where its been stored, for that sort of money, i wouldn't want it to be stored outside with a sheet over it.

the most important fact is it is new never driven and unrestored.....a restored shell will always have rust in the seams no matter how thourgh the resto has been

not sure on the value but at the end of the day its worth what someone will pay and will make a mint old car

u can see that the car has been a cpl of colours, round the back windows is red and obvioulsy the bay is light blue, and if its still got its origanal primer on why are the doors not?? Plus its says neva had an engine fitted.. seems a few spare etc inside

Kev is spot on ,,, Even if you have a shell blasted there is still 20 years of corrosion in places where you cant get to , I would rather have a new one anyday

if you enlarge the pic of the front you will see that it is an original rs shell it has got the strenghteners on the top mounnts with the hole fore the washer bottle on the passenger side

if it has never been sprayed etc why is it sooo many diff colours!?!

even if it is an RS shell and yes that makes it worth money i think there is something a bit funny with it! why has someone had a new shell just lying around and dont ya think someone would have offered decent money before to have it! people must have known about it!

just doesnt seem 100% true to me!
