FAO Stav and those that know old skool jap
I'm trying to find the name of an old mitsubishi car. 1980's probably original lancer. Looks about the size of MK1 escort but squarer. I think they used it for touring car racing.
There's a garage in Leamington and they have one outside all caged up and it looks awesome. I don't know the name and can't find any pics on google.
Just want the name so I can do some more research

As per above, if its 4dr then prob original Lancer Turbo.
Didnt say Starion or Sapporo Turbos as they nothing like Escort shape.

Yes, it's that shape but I'm sure it's only 2dr
It also has mega wide arches almost like the ford x-pac's.
I'll try and get a picture

It may infact be a 4dr but I can't quite remember. I'm quite suprised that between us we haven't put our finger on it or found a pic. Must be rarer than I thought.

What engines do they run? Are they 2wd or 4wd?
It looks like it would just make a cool track car.

People put Cossie engine bits on them to make them go faster (injectors, intercoolers, turbos etc).

A few people do.
Or they put later Evo engines etc in them, as its the same block, just an 8 valve single cam head.

Are some people missing the fact he said MISTUBISHI or something?
It stands to reason he said that as he saw the badge, not as a wild guess, lol.

IF it is that one, the front has changed and it's lost the obvious coolers with a normal bumper now. But that is exactly like it if it isn't
