if you were spending that kinda cash , would it realy be with a tuner in this country ?
Why not? theres 4 people i know of that can build you an awsome spec engine, Martin Hadland, Karl Norris, MAD and Julian Godfrey (my personal preferance ).
All 4 have built big power cossies and have been proven aswell.
When I spoke to Julian a while ago about the big power cars he has done in norway, sweden etc he said there basically the same spec as the rallyx boys ie Dermot carnegie

He was saying that the S8 had produced some good BHP figures!!!Done about 5 i think so far......he is testing the anti lag sooooooon.
Benn i think it was 545bhp but it was the comp ratio that astounded me.
Lo comp is deffo the old way after the chat...apparently they dont do any under 8-1 engines anymore!!!!!
I love my comp ratio as i can drive it like a normal sierra 2.0 but then crank her open for true super car slaying

because i wouldnt . if you go back a few weeks and see what you get for the same money in other countries , i think that just about says it all . everything is cheaper outside the uk and i like value for money .
in the real world i'd fuckin build it myself .

I am "helping" to dyno a 750-780 BHP cossie lump (2 litre) next week on my ecu .....
This will be on race fuel and NOT use NOS.
The tuner concerned is a f**king looney but I hope it holds together.
It is going into a road legal car for occasional track use.
The engine build so far is well over Ł15000 and that doesnt include any
bits for installation in to the car or the cost of the ecu.
Will post graphs when the job is done.
These big power engines cost big bucks if you want long term reliability.
