you said if its below 6% he would pass it....so he probably has done wrong at some point...or is prepared to...
or he would have said if its below 3.5%it passes...
what else does he "let go"? fookin stupid imo
people like that think there doing you a favor...id rather have my car tested to higher standards so i know its better than ok

Installed the closed loop conversion from MSD and look at this CO readings!! With the old chip and greens it was set at 3.5% to let it pass the MOT. But only at a higher CO value it would run ok.
Now with this new chip and closed loop it runs like a dream all through the revs, very low CO at idle and a great fuel consumption!
Thanks a lot you guys from MSD!!

closed loop lambda control is standard on a p8 as is closed loop boost control etc etc.if you have a pectel board lambda control can be activated or deactivated,as can wasted spark .The p8 can run wasted spark as standard
I havent got it calculated at this moment, but it seems a lot less. Before it would do 1 liter to 9,5km and now looks like more than 1 liter to 12-13km.This is of course when cruising on the highway, but untill now I havent driving for more than 100 miles with the new conversion. But as soon as I have done a good measurement I will post it for sure.
I think it maybe can be different from country to country.
- Overhere in Holland its 4.5% till 1991.
- From 1991-on its 3.5%.
- But cars fitted with cat and lambda control only may have 0.5%.
- And then from 1994-on there came newer regulations for petrol engines which says to meet certain Euro emission standards with a 4-gas test. 0,5% at idle and 0,3% max. at 3000rpm, lambda between 0,97-1,03.
