DFDS are closing the Newcastle - Norway ferry

it would have been a bind to drive up to bloody newcastle, but then at least not far to go the other other side. now it's a long drive via denamrk and sweden, or just fly but that's boring

There are ferries from Denmark to Norway as well.

It only takes about 3 hours with the new Super Speed ferry from Hirtshals(which is no more than 300KM from Esbjerg). No need to through Sweden.

Sept 5-7th this year, and i think ill av to get my car back to england before they stop the ferry then. It was about a 8/9 hr drive from stavanger to rudskogen gatebil anyway.

yours would be fun for you lins but the norwegian crowd wouldn't think much of a front wheel drive car on the track

it's a fantastic show though, you ought to go, you'd love it

No i know Nick, i just wanted to take it for the road trip cos i liked driving it to Le Mans a couple of years ago - but would be much more fun in KIA if i could hack the journey

Will have to wait and see at the mo
