I have been offered a Evo 6 tommi makinen edition for a deal with my X5, but realy never looked into evo's so dont have a clue what its worth. Only details i have on it are 2001, 40K ,307 bhp in silver.

Thats the problem im worried if i do take it i will like it, plan would to be run it for a few weeks then punt it as realy dont need two performance cars.

 

Im sure you will like it but dont think you will be blown away as your escos is a tool.

Then work a deal from there, I can certainly say a TME will be an excellent purchase

Sounds about right for an import TME. They do sell well as a special edition and are very desirable, however a lot of Evos seem to take a while to sell on the MLR at the mo.

Deffo recommend viewing to see the actual condition. I've now looked at a lot of Evos and they vary so much from near new condition 6s, through to late 8s that are tattier than my old Cossie!

If it's mint I'd say go for it, especially if you've had little interest in the X5 at 12k.

Wouldnt be keeping it for more than a month stuff trying to keep an evo and a 500bhp escos.

 

I'd say its worth it. A lot of Maks on pistonheads have prices that I would've thought were a little optimistic to say the least compared to a normal 6 GSR. But fair enough if the Maks fetch a lot more then 12k sounds about right for it.

One of my mates had a y plater one last year with 43,000 miles ,mint car,few nice mods etc etc struggled to sell it and he is a trader and took i think 10k for it

 

My mate had a mint 6 he let go for 9k. Was a ralliart edition as well had about 55-60k on it, Fujitsobo exhaust system, decat, cusco strut brace, blitz induction kit and hardpipe, hks ssqv, koyo rad, FSH and cat 1 alarm system. Wanted 11k at first but couldnt get it
