A cancelling ring missing - bet it has an aftermarket steering wheel and the ring was not put back on.

the ones I have seen are plastic, not seen an escos one though - the cam can break or wear - or if the steering wheel nut is not tight or steering wheel not seated correctly the cam can be a little short.

As said the reverse side of thw wheel has a notch into which the lug of the plastic self canceller sits so it rotates with the wheel, this canceller has further "foot/lug" that physically pushes the indicator switch off as it hits the bit that sticks out from the switch when activated.
This is why you have TWO clicks one when the "kick off" lug goes past as wheel is turned and one when the wheel is then turned back and it clicks off, just take wheel off and have a look you will soon see.
