Agree £15 is a big steep as i don't know this guy too well but good to see him fight back here.

Amazing fight pretty much none stop and what an entrance from Hatton, in his fat suit under his clothes to dig at the press who criticise his life style. Not to mention the fat song. Brilliant no wonder so many go to see him.

Was a really good fight! It was the first time i've properly watched Hatton fight and i was really impressed. He is so quick and precise with his punches, well worth £15...good stuff

Most enjoyable fight ive paid for in years to be honest. Followed the whole "At home with the Hattons" thing on TV to get me into the spirit too, excellent coverage it was.
Its obvious to all who watched that Ricky still has it, despite being a few weeks short of 30 now. His Stamina looked good with him having plemnty left in round 12 and his shots remained accurate in the final rounds too, with, i recall, about 40% hit rate from near 600 punches thrown.
His opponent though was outstanding. Technically not in Hatons class anymore maybe, but wow, what a heart!! Ive seen nothing like it for years, the fella didnt back off once, and many times i thought it was all over for him then... Bang!! he was back with a nice combo that occasionally rocked hatton quite seriously. Maybe the biggest heart in boxing today?
I wanted hatton to get a mid fight knockout, around round 4 or 5 as per his regular style, but towards the end of the fight Lazcano had turned my opinion of him and i was genuinely pleased to see him still standing at the final bell, he earned that bell and that pay cheque. Outstanding Boxing and i wish i had paid to see it live at MC stadium now.

Amazing fight!!
Lazcano was a right battler!!! there was one point when Hatton's laces came undone....at that point it looked like his legs had gone, he had 30 secs to recover whilst the laces were done up and i thought Hatton was gonna pop him right down, but he just kept taking it and even more surprisingly he came back and threw some great punches!!
Ricky NEEDS to learn to defend more though, i know it's not his style but Mayweather outclassed him because of his poor defence IMO
Enjoyed it though!!

Went to the fight and wasnt that impressed with Hatton to be honest.
Have seen or been to a fair few of his fights and this looked like hard work.
Dont foret this juan hasnt been in a ring for 15 months and hatton should have walked over him, feeling was the same ringside. Yes he won but was rocked on more then one occasion.
Well done for the result tho.

It was great entertainment but not a great fight from a technical/boxing point of view. Lazcano showed some heart but never looked likely to turn the fight. Hatton put on a show and thats what this was about, if hatton fights that malignaggi guy I think it will be a lot harder as that guy looks very quick.
Good entertainment though.

Agree he does and that's why he brought in that extra guy to work on defence maybe with Floyd and others in mind. Seriously though as great as Mayweather is there is a reason in football for example we have home and away games and also Joe Cortez who would not allowing anything but distance fighting yet when Joe Calzaghe was against Hopkins in the USA he allowed the now home fighter to hold and get on the inside as that was his game. I believe although it would still be step up a weight class if it was at Wembley outside of the USA, something Mayweather has never done, with a fair ref and IF Ricky is on it then anything could happen. It seems only non-USA fighters have to fight outside to be called great.
Anyone got any links or videos of Hattons entrance? Thought it was amazing, looked like a proper sumo.
