smaller and lighter with track suspension & tyres i guess, would not compare to a road trim e36.

That engine would be a waste of time in Jims car (no offence Jim)
The sub 8 sec to 60 was tongue in cheek comment I'd guess.

No different to the red one I went in IMO except it may of been on slicks. It runs all steel panels though unlike the red one which were carbon but it does run a seqential box which will help a small amount.

yeah but it was still an E30, Jims is a road trim E36 M3 so how will an engine with similar power get him round the ring any quicker?
