Evo 5 Vs 6
Is the performance difference noticable ? 5' are also much cheaper than the 6... anyone have anyone thoughts
I know the 6 looks slightly better , but can a 5 be made to look identical to a 6??
Are they both reliable cars , considering the 5 is a 1998 car
Kind regards,
Peter

not much at all apart from forged rear arms on the 6 compared to the 5, the front damper on the 6 is inverted, it isnt on the 5,
other than that its small external differences but everything else is identical

I've had both and there's no difference to drive IMO.
There's definatley a step up from the 4 to the 5, but the difference between the 5 and 6 is insignificant in the real world. I prefer the look of the 6 but if money is an issue then you'll obviously be better off looking for a 5, there's some bargains to be had out there but be carefull as they can cost a bit if you don't know what you're looking at. Saying that a 6 on ebay will probably fetch around £7k at the moment (with no reserve) my mate sold a FSH all original paint low owner evo 6 last year on ebay with no reserve and it made £7500.
