The Red one is the about the same value of his 3dr, just better looking and cleaner!

Stunning cars, and as youve highlighted - still demanding a healthy price tag if in top condition.

i wouldnt mind the red one

dont they have leather as standard, as the inside of that red one looks like a 318 interior could be wrong

i know the one my mate bought had full leather etc, some proper wide deep dish alloys, took some getting use to he said due to lhd and dog box, but still managed to get the car to perform, shame we sold it

Like BM's but I thought every E30 M3 ive driven, inc 2 with aftermarket managment etc etc, sucked ball.

Well they didnt, but the way people wank all over them youd think theyd be super amazing. They not.

Prefer the E36 M3 TBH.

agree totally....they feel so so dated!!

E36 M3's are cheap as chips now, shame insurance is still a cunt otherwise they'd be a decent runaround.

See quite a few round here because Moseleys is just down the road. I'd like one as a third car but after trying them I prefer the Sapphire.
My friend had one and tbh a 328i was nearly as quick

A friend of mine owns a nice M3 :

Sadly it got hit by a drink driver last year so its currently being rebuilt, it wasn't far off standard power but the handling was crisp, it has a 3.9:1 diff in it too which makes it feel much more lively.

cheers mike

awesome pieces of history, as everyone has said, very slow compared with what were used to, but very quick in there own right.

Can't believe some are the same value as my 3dr, with twice the mileage

they really do command strong money at the moment.

I cant believe how much they are selling for , and have been for such a long time now !

Nice cars with pedigree just like the RS500 but nowhere near as exclusive especially as you have the Cecotto , Ravaglia , EVO 1 , 2 and Sport variants .

Im sure the Red one with the Black rims is a Cecotto

You can poke your E46's and CSL's - these are the only M3's to have.

Granted theyre going to be slow , a standard M3 was only 215 hp when new ! so what they are after 15 years is anyones guess , even the EVO Sport 2.5 was only 230 Hp .

But thats not why people buy these cars now is it ?

How do you come to that conclusion?
CSL's look better, are better handling, and a lot faster :S

And fuck knows whats going on with AE86 Corrolla`s ! Looking on piston heads those Irish lads must be joking !

I remember before they became known as drift icons you could buy them for sub Ł500 ! , nowadays your lucky if you spy one sub Ł5K

anywhere between 290-310 bhp depending on year, so a good 200bhp at least behind the rs500s

theres a white one with the number plate 'RINGTOY' with a 3.5 m5 engine with a supercharger on, now thats what id want if i went for something like an E30

That was at the ring when we were there a few weeks ago.

The DTM cars had 375hp from the 2.5 4 pot engine, I'm not sure if the same applied to the BTCC M3's or not though

That's not the best advert there mate, I know Matt who owns that car and it's never out of AVA....... in the 4-5 years I have known him I have seen it on the road about 5 times, he bought a Skyline it was in the garage so much. Does go well when it goes though
